Mohammad is a 30 year old man from Teheran, Iran. He moved to the Netherlands at the end of April after he found a job at an online bank in Amsterdam. Among the nationalities that we service, the Iranian is rare. We assist a hand full of Iranian citizens per year.
Immigration process from Iran to the Netherlands
Mohammad holds the Iranian nationality. He got a job offer from a Dutch employer. Therefore we applied for an entry visa (MVV) and the the highly skilled migrant procedure. Evelien submitted the applications on March 16th and we received the approval letter on March 23rd. Mohammad had to pick up his MVV at the Dutch embassy in Teheran and received our instructions for that. He was pleased by the assistance and answered all evaluation questions with ‘excellent’.
Relocation process
Now that the immigration formalities had been arranged Mohammad could travel from Iran to the Netherlands. He did so by the end of April. At first he had to quarantine for 10 days. He spent his quarantine in the temporary apartment that Manon booked for him. Luckily he tested negative on day 5 so we had some extra time. He visited town hall and IND for his registration. Moreover we assisted Mohammed with his home finding in Amsterdam. We found him a nice apartment in Amsterdam West.
Mohammad’s evaluation
Mohammad had a very positive relocation experience. He valued our immigration assistance with all ‘excellent’ reactions. And, even more importantly, on his relocation evaluation form he left this message:
“With your help, my migration to the Netherlands could not have been easier, thank you all.”
Iran is a very different country than the Netherlands, we wish Mohammad all the best here!
